“ Four of us dined here on a Tuesday evening. We got a table outside and were seated in about 5 minutes (they don't take reservations). We ordered drinks from the bar while we waited and the bartender was great. The service was very attentive and multiple servers helped us throughout the meal (great teamwork). The atmosphere is great with nice views of the water from most everywhere. The bathrooms were super clean and modern. The food was very good. The mussels we had as an appetizer were very fresh, cooked perfectly and had a very nice broth with them. For dinner we had braised pork (a touch heavy on the cumin), grain bowl (loved the coconut rice), fish sandwich (tile fish, fried perfectly) and best of all the crab cakes. I don't like crab cakes very much and I can tell you these were some really good crab cakes!! We will be back again for sure! Also, don't forget to buy the kitchen staff a round of drinks (only 10 bucks)! ”

“ Off the bat, the service was stand out. We were impressed by the baked feta and enjoyed the mussels as share plates. For entrees, we went with crab cakes and the catch of the day (red snapper). Crab cakes were some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend! ”
“ Wife and I made a trip here for dinner tonight and were really happy with this find! It’s a no reservations place so we needed to wait a little for a table, but we sat at the bar for about 10 minutes and enjoyed a Painkiller which was amazing and tasted exactly like the ones down in the Caribbean. We took our seat outside on the patio and enjoyed another cocktail and started dinner. We split the seafood soup and shrimp toast and both were blown away with how good those were. Mains were crab cakes and the Seared Tuna. The dinner was one of the best meals I’ve had on this ribbon of sand in a long time. The service was great, views were spectacular, and food was local, fresh, and expertly prepared. Don’t miss this one if you’re near Avon for dinner, you will not be disappointed. Shout out to our server Ryan.. he took great care of us tonight - wish we were in town longer as I’d like to try more of the menu. ”
“ The best dining experience we've had anywhere in the outer banks. Definitely a date night place more than a family outing as the menu is pretty high end. Everything we ordered was delicious! Coconut red curry fish, beef short rib and a crab dip special. The sound side views are really nice too! ”
“ It’s not often that the people behind the service ranks equally with the food, both being amazing. Arrived with 5 baby and was seated immediately. Cocktails were well prepared and perfect for our party. Ordered appetizers; smashers, mussels and a salad with blueberries tomatoes and burette cheese....all great choices. Entrees included the Po Boy, Fish chips, Everything Tuna, Coconut fish curry and mussels. This made for an outstanding session of “wanna taste mine” that was enjoyed by all. Po Boy is a must for our family and friends when we vacation in Avon. A very delightful environment with staff that truly makes you feel appreciated as a customer and friend. “ We just had a phenomenal experience here and are kicking ourselves for not coming sooner. It’s the highest quality food with wonderful service with a gorgeous view of the Sound. Our server Bowen made us feel at home and attended to our every need. Favorites were... potato smashers by far, but the coconut curry fish, fish n chips, crab cakes and seafood bisque were standout dishes. The guys really enjoyed the craft IPA Zero Gravity. ”
